Unfortunately, many of these links are currently broken. But if you search here on the Substack by any episode number, you should find what you’re looking for.
Just a little shake….and the snow falls all around, quiet, peaceful, reflective, soothing. That’s how I think of podcasts in December!
December has always been a favorite month on the Creativity Matters Podcast. I may not remember the words from one year to the next, but I remember the feeling of sitting in a dark room, turning on a string of holiday lights, turning on the mic, and talking into the hush.
Wow, I miss that.
When I was looking for an old show link last week, I ran headlong into a bunch of search results from Decembers in years past. I got a little warm and fuzzy. I have probably talked about similar things every year since I first started in 2006, although in 2006, there were little boy voices and somewhere along the way a memorable “peace to eyeballs” bit from my youngest.
I know that most of the people following or finding me here on the Illustrated Life substack aren’t necessarily familiar with the podcast. It’s a bit self-indulgent, but I thought I would put together a list of older shows that might be good company in December. (I didn’t listen back.)
These might be an introduction to the podcast, or maybe you have heard these before and just enjoy pulling up some peaceful talk while you go about your day. There are two “readings” below as well.
