Episode 480 of the CMP, a Creativity Matters Podcast — December journaling, ornaments, the “Year the Tree Stayed Up,” and a sweet book about ornaments
A short show moving into December…. closing out the November series with two short notes from the final days, and then a shift into the final weeks of the year.
In this episode, some talk about “The Year the Christmas Tree Stayed Up,” ornaments, and December illustrated journaling.
The book at the heart of this episode is Tree of Treasures: A Life in Ornaments by Bonnie Mackay. This is a really charming book in which the author shares some of her more than 3000-piece ornament collection and relates the story that goes along with the ornament.
If you have a soft spot for ornaments (or for organizing and cataloging your life), I think you will enjoy seeing this one!
