Sketchnote of Episode 454 of the Creativity Matters Podcast

These sketchnotes are for Episode 454 of the CMP, a 2021 show called “5 Minutes.” These notes are part of this Sunday newsletter and had to be moved to a separate post for length. This sketchnote is three pages. (Numbering them is something I need to do moving forward. I’m still sorting out how I want to template things and how to most efficiently move from start to finish.)

I definitely have things to work out with my process, approach, and layout, and I feel like I need to go back and listen to the show again and see if there are things I want to add. I know I lost a line I had at the top when I realized I hadn’t mentioned the podcast name. I thought I stashed the line to the side for later, but I must have deleted it along the way.

Nothing about this process is fast. But every note is a start. I am trying to be gentle with myself in this process and not psych myself out in the quest for the perfect digital lettering. The goal is capturing the highlights in sketchnote format.

I’m excited about this (although daunted by the time involved).

Onto the next one. I guess I’ll just throw a dart and see what show comes up next. Although I have some favorite shows. I could pick and choose for a bit. Or, I could throw darts for a while until I get a better flow before I do some of my favorites.
