That a spread can look completely different from one week to the next is such a good point to make. Whether on purpose or because last week’s final product does not inspire, it suggests, ‘that’s okay, let’s try something new this week’.
The full color examples of your pages are brilliant. Thanks for this list, it is really helpful. I often include moon phases and mark the seasons (solstice and equinox ). I tried to do a mood tracker but I go through way too many moods in any one day!
Moon phases is a great thing to track — and many track weather details. All of it adds texture and helps contextualize days. I agree about moods. I do it now… a single ranking every day, but I used to think about it a lot like you said. I find most days are about the same anyway “overall.”
Thank you for all these great ideas. I’ve been keeping a daily journal since 1977. I always add the weather, what I’m reading, watching, or listening to, good, and what I did. But your prompts and suggestions just made me add more details to the last few days. I always kept emotions out of it (wrote them elsewhere) but I’m going to add wishes and hopes and longings now.
Those repeatable ideas are wonderful!
Simple - but that’s what makes them work. I’m glad you found the list interesting!
I always enjoy seeing a CMP update in my inbox be it about a new podcast to look for, illustrated journal suggestions, …it’s all good Amy.
Thanks so much for you support and encouragement - and for listening and now reading! (And sharing - thank you.)

I am enjoying this weekly missive very much. 🤗
Thank you for reading, and I totally agree that things can shift week to week. It’s nice that the process is exactly that free.
The pictures always compliment the writing ❤️
Thank you!

I love knowing this. Thank you!
