Haha my first two thoughts for a desert island book were definitely Gravity’s Rainbow or Infinite Jest. But then I immediately thought: “I don’t think those books have anything for me any longer, I’ve read them enough times.” But I’m probably wrong. The books I chose to reread are few and far between.

That is so funny. I’ve never read either - I love knowing you have. I think that color tracking (and tabbing) project I talked about one time was Gravity’s Rainbow. That was intriguing from afar. You know the one I mean? (If not, I’ll find the reference number for a visual.) So what is a current you favorite book?

Thank you for the kind words! I love to paint other people’s book stacks but have also always struggled to narrow down my own list of favorites to a reasonable stack. I have also for many years had a habit of reading several

books at the same time...so that desert island question really befuddles me.

Thanks so much for letting me share the image of your beautiful work! I also read multiples… the island question is bracing for sure. Lol

I usually have at least two going at a time, one in my kindle and one audio book.

It is so hard for me to pin down my favorite books. As a kid I loved Nancy drew and Trixie Beldon, as a teen it was sci-fi/fantasy from piers Anthony, Heinlein, and Alan Dean Foster. As a young adult it was cyberpunk by William Gibson or Neal Stephenson.

I also love a series. I have a few I read that I don’t thunk are great literature, but provide something like comfort food. I get super excited when a new inspector Gamache book comes out!
